Show "PIN FALL" to At Gedai fm Bowling Lanes MlLt League action was completed during the past week in both the Rainbow and the Southern Association Asso-ciation leagues. Iron County Lumber walked off with team honors in the Rainbow Rain-bow League with VI rg Smith picking up most of the individual honors at the season's end. Iron County Lumber, composed of Virg Smith, Grant Seegmiller, Leo Cahoon, Mel Adam, Loan Ct. and Win Seegmiller won first place honors and al.vj had the high game and series honors for teams during the course of I the season. ICL had the high team game of 1001 and the top series of 2760. Smith wound up with the high average for the season, a 184, and had the high game, a 256 and the top series rolled during the course of the season, a 694. In the ' Southern Association League, Meadow Gold copped tint place honors at the league's conclusion after leading the pack through most of the season. The team's members include Bruce j Osborne, Jim Amend, Bill Dover, I Kent "Red" Dover, and Ren Tay- lor. High team efforts, however, were divided between Arctic Circle Cir-cle and Cedar Bowling Lanes. Arctic Circle had the high team series for the season, a 2824. Members of the team were Vlrg Smith, Dudley Alger, Ernie Hum-phery. Hum-phery. Dee Cowan and Don Lar-sen. Lar-sen. Cedar Bowling Lanes, consisting con-sisting of Phil Hirschi, Sherwin Taylor, AI Jensen, Hump Rosenberg Rosen-berg and Clyde Nelson, had the high game, a 1026. Virg Smith ended up the year with the high average for the league, a commendable 188 with Bruce Osborne at 187 and Hump Rosenberg at 186. High series rolled during the year in the league was a 681 by Kent "Red" Dover. Dover and Randy Rosenberg shared honors for the high game of the season, a 267. ' |
