Show Attention! Vacant Lot Owners i Do you own a vacant lot with-J with-J in the Parowan City limits or on any of the approaches into town? I, j 'Tlease" clean up and burn the dry weeds and debris. And those unsightly fences mend them, or remove them entirely. That is the Introduction to the message of the Parowan City beautificatlon committee for this week. The message continues as follows: We are delighted with the fine, clean appearance around most of our homes. But this vacant va-cant lot menace is a real headache head-ache especially for those who live nearby. If you have a relative or a friend who has moved away and left vacant, weed grown property to seed his neighbor's garden with every (daily) wind; won't you contact said owner and get him to take care of the bad situation? sit-uation? This is one problem it will pay you to get involved with! The owner should be glad to pay a fair amount for the clean-up (maybe your boys could use some pocket money. How wonderful to have your neighbors take personal pride In clean, attractive surroundings. But, alas, there are always a few (like the one rotten apple in the barrel) who need the bite of the law to FORCE them to clean up. (Yes there is such a law on our city books). Don't YOU be the rotten apple in the barrel! Be a good neighbor. neigh-bor.
