Concert Sunday CHS Band Will Present Special The Cedar High School Con cert Band, fresh from the Region Ten Music Festival where they received a Number 1 rating, will present a special Guest Artist concert at the High School Auditorium Audi-torium Sunday, May 23 at 8:15 p. m. Harold Boyce, director, Indicated Indicat-ed that the guest conductor to appear with the band will be Dr. Max Daby of Utah State University. Univer-sity. Dr. Daby completed his undergraduate un-dergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and his masters mas-ters from San Diego State. He has taught at Ogden High and Weber State College prior to joining join-ing the faculty at USU. He has been a clinic Instructor at the All Region Band Clinic held in Cedar City. In addition the program will feature student solosits Steve Sevy and Pam Berrett. The band will perform the works of Bach, including his "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring," and will also do Rlmsky-Korsa-kov's popular "Procssion of the Notes." Public Is cordially Invited to attend the annual concert, one of the highlights of the year for the band.
