Show Nearly 13,000 Aliens Must File Reports in January Officer in Charge, Joe D. Low-rie, Low-rie, of the Immigration Naturalization Natural-ization Service estimated today that 13.000 a'iens w;U report their address in the State of Utah during January under the Federal Feder-al Alien Address Report Program. The Immigration official said that 12.202 aliens reported their address during Januay, 1961. Mr. Lowrie said that all non-citizens, non-citizens, except those in diplomatic diplo-matic status, foreign representatives representa-tives of certain international organizations or-ganizations and those admitted temporarily as agricultural laborers, labor-ers, are required to file the address ad-dress report. He added that any alien who willfully violate the address report re-port requirement may be fimd up to $200, imprisoned for thirty days, and deported. In addition, aliens who are not in the United States during January Jan-uary must report their address to the Service within ten days after their return. The Officer In Charge said that address report cards will be available at the Immigation Service Ser-vice Office at 57 West South Temple, Suite 732, Salt Lake City, Utah, and local Post Offices. |
