Bragg, N. C, Oct. 12, 1961. Manufactured by the Pacific Car and Foundry Co., the howitzer is capable of firing a 200-pound conventional round or a nuclear armed projectile. From the vantage point of OP-5, overlooking a broad expanse of firing range and impact areas, President John F. Kennedy observed operation of the Army's newest Infantry and Artillery weapons. |
