Show Mickelsons Learn of Son's Accomplishments Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mickelson received a clipping taken from the newspaper in Powel, Wyo., telling of the activities of their son. Prof. Leonard Mickelson in conducting the first annual Bi Horn Basin Science Fair, which was held there on Saturday. Mar. 1. Leonard is professor of biological biologi-cal science at the Northwest Community College at Powell. According to the story Prof. Mickelson conducted the fair, which was a part of a national school students talent search in which students from all high schools in the ' Bighorn Basin area had an opportunity op-portunity to exhibit special projects. pro-jects. The projects could be in any field of science, engineer-j engineer-j ing and mathematics. The winners in this fair will, participate in the Wyoming-Colorado State Fair to be held on April 12 at Boulder, Colo. Winner Win-ner from here will enter national nation-al competition. Mr. Mickelson has been an Instructor In-structor in the Powell college since Its establishment and he and his wife, the former Dorothy Hulet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hulet of Summit have resided re-sided in the Wyoming community communi-ty for a number of years. |
