Show Warren H. Bullcch Named President Of Y-Z Trail flssn. Warren H. Bulloch. Cedar City, was named president of the Y-Z Trail Association at an organizational organiza-tional meeting held in Cedar City Saturday, March 3 . Bulloch has served as a temporary tem-porary president sie the initiation init-iation of the organization and now becomes the first president of the group that has banded together to rromoto travel on the newly completed highway route and the San Francisco, Bay area in California to Zion National Tark, and other scenic wonderlands wonder-lands in the southern Utah and Eastern Arizona region A constitution and bvlaws were adopted at the meeting which i consisted of representatives from) Ctfiiar Ciiy, Faruwan, Si. Gt-uif-, i Enterprise, Caliente and Tioche, Nev. Three vice presidents were named nam-ed for the association lnclud-1 ing A. J. Barlocker, Enterpriser Wm. McGhie and Ray Down, Nev. I ada. Named as secretary and treasurer was D. W. Corry of i Cedar City who also served in a temporary capacity for the past several months. I Directors of the newly formed! organization Include Arnold E. Anderson, Cedar City; Robert L. Bagshaw, Enterprise; R. L. Fen-ton. Fen-ton. St. George and Thil Dolan, Caliente. An executive committee was named to include the president,! three vice presidents and thoj I group was also authorized to initiate financing plans and to set up a membership ratio for the various participating com- i munities. Caliente was represented with a delegation of 20 people at the meeting and the response to the program from those along the route Is very gratifying, Bulloch stated. Pending further arrangements tentative plans to hold the next meeting of the association at Tonapah on March 29 were announced an-nounced at the meeting. |
