Show KANARRAVILLE We are having a spell of cold weather after a heavy rain turning turn-ing to snow a few days last week. Some snow Is still lying on the ground. Hettie Pollock has returned home after several weeks in Las Vegas with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis and small daughter of Wyoming visited vis-ited here with their parents. Kent returned home after a week, stay but Mrs. Davis will remain ofr a couple of weeks. Mrs. Hannah Davis enjoyed a visit from two of her friends from New Harmony, Emma Neil-son Neil-son and Edna Prince. J Many of our Ward members attended stake conference in Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday and Sunday. Verna Davis taught the upper grades at our school for a few-days few-days owing to the Illness of our principal. Keith Midgley. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams were Mrs. Zina Pollock and a granddaughter grand-daughter of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parker of Cedar City. Clayton and Terry O. William? and Kathy of Henderson and North Las Vegas were week end visitors here. Thev brought th-'iri mother, Amanda Williams, home after a week's visit with their families. . . Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Reeves were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Anderson and girls of Cedar City. Several from here attended the bill games at Cedar City last week end. Marva Prince and children spent Sunday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Hannah Han-nah Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Prince of New Harmony visited Sunday with Mrs. Prince's mother, Mary M. Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Rn Ratty snrl tnn "!?0 of No" Harmony, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Batty. Carma Williams and son Jeffrey Jef-frey spent one day last week in Cedar City with Mrs. Irpha Spen-cer Spen-cer and children. Ross Williams was homo ovr the week end with his family from Mexican Hat. Mrs. Barbara Williams and her father Ed Struble of Cedar City made a trip to California to meet their wife and mother, Agnes Ag-nes Struble who was flyliig there from Washington where she had been with ther daughter daugh-ter and family, Dr! and Mrs. Dave Dixon. |
