Show SUMMIT Mis. Daraa Davenport Carlisle Hulet arranged a very finefrogram for sacrament meet-Sunday, meet-Sunday, asking Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Martin of Cedar City to take part. Mrs. Martin played a beautiful piano selection, and Mr. Martin gave a most interesting interest-ing talk. Saturday was a big day for Mrs. Emma Fife 'and her son Gillman. They left Summit at 6:00 a. m. and picked Mrs. Samuel Sam-uel L. Fife up at Cedar City, then traveled on to Glen Canyon Dam and Page, Ariz. There they met Emma's sisters, Mrs. Edna Bott and Mrs. Virginia Chipman and three of their children who had been vacationing in Colorado, Colora-do, New Mexico and Arizona. The group had a wonderful time. There they visited with the Leo Larsen's. Edna and Virginia came to Summit and spent the night with the Fifes before going on to their home in Pleasant Grove. Karen and Heidi Rider of Richfield, Rich-field, spent the week end here with their dad and grandfather, Ted Fife. The Paul Fifes of Parowan spent Sunday here with their folks, the Ted Fifes. Paul has Just returned from Southern Nevada Ne-vada where he has been employ-ed employ-ed the past few months. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Casper and family of Cedar City visited here Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet. Monday, XIrs. Oscar Hulet enjoyed en-joyed a visit with her brother and sister-in-,law, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Walker of Salt Lake City. Charles R. Dalley is spending a few days visiting in St. George with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Dalley. Sunday visitors at the John Farrow home were Mrs. Farrow's daughter, Mrs. Angela Wolsey of Salina, and a son, Matt Behunin, his wife and daughter of Fremont, Fre-mont, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Montague of Payson called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Montague's brother, Jay Davenport on Wednesday. Mrs. Leona Smith and her sis- ter, Mrs. Lela Gibson of Enoch, spent one day last week visiting in Minersville. Sunday visiters at the Ardin Richards home were the Clarence Corbrldges of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrovv and daughter Shirley visited with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Maxwell in Enoch Sunday evening. The John Ledkin family moved to Midvale, Utah, over the week end. |
