Show Annual Art Exhibit Attracts Wide Interest The annual Spring Art Exhibit, Ex-hibit, which opened, in the South Elementary School Auditorium Sunday, April 16, will come to a close Sunday, April 30 at 10 p. m., leaving only a few more days in which art patrons may view the exhibit. The exhibit has attracted many people from all parts of the area, with many groups visiting the exhibit as special activities of the organizations. As usual, the interest of young people from elementary grade levels through college has been high and hundreds hun-dreds of them have visited the exhibit in class groups and as individuals. Some selections for the pur- chase of painting exhibited have already been made, and others are now being considered. Institution Insti-tution purchases are expected to lead in purchases, but individual purchases are rxpected to be made, as has always been the case in the 21 year history of the exhibit. The exhibit will remain open from 9 a. m. to 10 p. m., Thursday, Thurs-day, Friday and Saturday, and from 2 p. m. to 10 p. m. Sunday, with a special program to be presented pre-sented at 4 p. m. Sunday. |
