Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Cora Murie Mr .and Mrs. Jack Shorratt and son, Robert and Mr. and Mrs. C'ressel Sherratt went to St. Ueorgo Saturday to attend a wedding wed-ding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Francis I!a!I. Mr. and Mrs. Amone ilinton of Henderson, Nov., visited with the Jack Sherratt family Sunday. Miss Barbara Jones is spending the week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Jones. Mrs. Barbara Bryant spent the week end with her daughter Virginia, Vir-ginia, who is attending college in Logan. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Mathoson at the Iron County Hospital on Apr. 19. Mrs. Clara Smith of Denver is visiting here with her daughter, Mrs. Cleorge D. Grimshaw, and family. Mrs. Ellen Anderson,' daughter Lona and son Steve, spent the week end visiting with Mr. and I Mrs. Keith Anderson and Marie Anderson In Logan. Lona underwent under-went surgery on her hand in Salt Lake City Monday. The 19-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Murie suffered suf-fered a servere laceration on her head, when she fell on an axe. Eleven stitches were required to close the cut. Miss Leora Hafen has been here from Salt Lake City visiting with her sister, Mrs. Jenny Sherratt. Sher-ratt. Some of the Enoch young people peo-ple will sing with the Youth Chorus Cho-rus at Stake Conference and Ladies La-dies of Enoch will sing with the Singing Mothers at the conference confer-ence sessions. Ronald Grimshrw arrived home on leave Tuesday evening from Ft. Riley, Kan. He expects to spend fioia 10 days to two weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Grimshaw. |
