Show Cedar City Students Win Honor Roll Designation at U of U Five Cedar City students have earned places on the University of Utah Winter quarter honor roll, released this week by Dr. A. Ray Olpin, the University president. Only students with grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher in the range of A-minus to straight A work are listed by the honor roll. A 4.0 average at the University of Utah represents straight A work. Students who maintain an average of 3.5 or higher through their four years In school graduate grad-uate with high honors. The five students on the honor roll for the last quarter Included: Larry D. Lowder, son of Mr. and' Mrs. Lawrence T. Lowder; Kay Ashcroft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thcron Ashcroft; Lee Harris Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Carpenter; Dayne G. Gardner, Gard-ner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kumcn S. Gardner, and Sheldon Kerry Grant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Grant. All five students are graduates of Cedar City High School and are senior at the University of Utah. |
