Show Girls' Day Program Arranged By High School Coeds Girls of the Home Making department de-partment of the Parowan High are busy making plans for the annual Girls' Day at the schxl to be held this week end, Friday, April 28, it is announced by Mrs. Karlene Paxman, instructor in that department. Plans for the day include a fashion show and tea to commence com-mence at 2 p. m. in the high school gym, at which the girls in the home ec department will model outfits they have made during the school year that is drawing to a close, and also clothing made available to the show by local business establishments. establish-ments. The public is invited to attend this show. That evening a girls' date dance will be held in the gym. There will be special decorations, good music and refreshments. Linda Rae Dalton is general chairman for the event and is being be-ing assisted by the following: Darlene Hyatt, script; Ruth Ann Dalton, dance; Lola Ann Johnson, John-son, advertising; Metta Marie Mortensen, programs; and Garna Decker, refreshments. |
