Show SUMMIT I By Hulda Peterson . Gayland Farrow of Salt Lake City spent the Thanksgiving holl-day holl-day here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Farrow and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Von Davis and their two daughters of Richfield and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Storey and their two sons, Jeff and Mark of Boise, Idaho, spent the Thanksgiving week end here with Mrs. Davis's and Mrs. Storey's Stor-ey's parents Mr. and and Mrs. Otto Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Evans entertained en-tertained the young people Saturday Sat-urday evening with Mrs. Carol Davis and Mrs. Nedra Storney as their special guests. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lawrence and family of Gunnison, Colo., were also Thanksgiving Day visitors vis-itors in Summit at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil-ford Wil-ford Lawrence and other relatives rela-tives In town. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport and family traveled to Paragon-ah Paragon-ah for Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mr. Davenport's par-ents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Davenport. Dav-enport. Forty-two members of the family gathered for the occasion. Kent and Gary Dalley, sons of Stanley Dalley of Pontiac, Mich., who are attending school at the Brigham Young University at Provo, spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Cedar City and Summit Sum-mit visiting with the Waiter K. Grangers and the Otto P. Dalley families. Mrs. Pauline Neptune of Cedar City spent the week end with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Mathews of Antimony and their son Stanford, Stan-ford, a teacher In Ely, Nev., and a daughter, LaRea. of Lis Vea. Nev., spent Thanksgiving week end with the Carlyle Hulets. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fife of St. George visited with their sons Rudger and Ted Fife during the week end. Our community was sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Sara Amelia Adams, mother of Mrs. Vernon Dalley. John Farrow of St. George spent the holiday in Summit with his sons and daughters, returning re-turning to his home Monday. Mrs. Lillian Fotheringham returned re-turned home to Milford Friday after spending Thanksgiving with the Farrow families here. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife" and their son, Gillman, made a business bus-iness trip into Salt Lake City and spent the Thanksgiving holiday hol-iday with Mrs. Fife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Gillman, at Pleasant Grove. Bert Lawrence spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day in Parowan. |
