Show Brenda Williams Says Vows with Fred William Hooper LDS Institute of Religion was the setting Saturday, Nov. 28 for the wedding and reception of Miss Brenda Williams and Fred William Hooper. Bishop Edwin C. Cox of the Cedar Seventh Ward officiated at he double-ring ceremony. For the nuptial occasion the bride's gown was of white satin with a round fitted neckline, trimmed with lace and featuring long sleeves pointed at the wrist. The skirt was accented with a tier of pleated net over satin. Her veil was of shoulder length and she carried a crescent bouquet bou-quet of flame roses. The new Mrs. Hooper Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex B. Williams of Cedar City. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Hooper of Annabel-la. Annabel-la. Attending the bride were Miss Margo Hording. Miss Carolyn Condie, Mrs. Marian Blackner, Miss Celestia Ashdown and Miss Mary Jane Williams, a sister. Standing as matron of honor was Mrs. Warren Williams, sister-in-law of the bride. The attendants wore ballerina length dresses of beautiful taffeta taf-feta with a variety of fall flowers. flow-ers. Attendants had crescent bouquets bou-quets of fall tone chrysanthemums. chrysanthe-mums. Mother of the bride received guests in a light blue knit dress and the bridegroom's mother wore a rose lace dress. Both had corsages of yellow feathered mums. Standing as best man was Ronald Mills and ushers were Warren Williams and Hurley Hansen. Attending the guest book was Mrs. Maridon Gates. During the evening organ music mu-sic was rendered by dive Hart-man Hart-man and vocal solos by Alice Williams. Following the reception In their honor the young couple left for a short hone.flon trip to Las Vegas, Nev. They then returned to Salt Lake City where they will make their home while Mr. Hooper continues his schooling at the University of Utah In the field of business management. The new Mrs. Hooper is a graduate of Cedar City High School and the Hollywood Beauty Beau-ty School In Salt Lake City. She with the Modem Beauty Salon In Cedar City and this past year represented the Iron Rangers In the state "Miss Pony Express" contest In Salt Lake City.
