Show Soloists Announced For Annual "Messiah" Rendition On Sunday, Dec. 13, Cedar City and the College of Southern Utah will again present its annual production of Handel's "Messiah." This traditional Christmas of-ferlng of-ferlng Is one of the great productions pro-ductions of man's expressiveness In religious worship. This orator-lo orator-lo has been performed across the western world more times than all other oratorios that have been written. Since the first performance of "The Messiah" in Dublin in 1760. it has struck a responsive chord in tue hearts of all the follow- ers of Jesus. It commemorates the prophesy, the birth and the suffering of the Savior. In so doing do-ing 'The Messiah" reaches us all more deeply than any other musical offering at the season when we all stop to pay tribute and worship once again. This season's performance of-fers of-fers a large chorus and orchestra numbering In all about 200 performers. per-formers. The soloists this year will be: Yvonne Leigh, soprano; Mary Sargent and Cynthia Wll- liams, contraltos; Wallace Adams and Herschel Neeley, tenors, and Forrest Hunter and Kent Myers, basses.
