Gail Hunter was winner of second team honors. hon-ors. Clifford Craig, although small in stature for a lineman, made up for his size in aggressiveness. He was a sharp play analylst that put him in the middle of practically every defensive tackle tac-kle from his linebacker slot for Coach Bruce Osborne. Talbot, a ""transfer from Ore gon State, was the leading pass rece'ver for the Broncos this year at his tl i.pot as he served principally prin-cipally on the offensive unit of the Broncos this season. Talbot and Craig, in addition, were voted as co-captains for the Broncos this season. Hunter started out the season, sea-son, his second at CSU, as a quarterback and was later moved to halfback because of his running run-ning ability, Hvr;ter came to G3U from Millard High School and earned a rightful spot in the conference con-ference annals with his fine running run-ning ability, his passing arm from both quarterback and at halfback, and some fine defensive defen-sive work. Several of the Broncos also won honorable mention. They include in-clude Lee Shingledecker and Jerry Jer-ry Ennis, tackles; Doug Bra It h-waite, h-waite, guard, and Eric Gardner, quarterback. Gardner is the only Bronco receiving re-ceiving recognition who has a n-other n-other year of eligibility. |
