The gathering place was the Relief Society rooms of the First-Sec-1 ond Ward church with all the members of the family In attendance. attend-ance. Family members present were Nellie Bentley, Roy, Alma and Chester Hyatt of this city; Albena Gurr of Cedar City, Retta Reed of Los Angeles, Luella Nichols of Salt Lake City, Herbert Smith Hyatt. Jr., of Idaho Falls. Idaho; Dr. G. Delos Hyatt of Elslnore, and Lance N. Hyatt of Gunnison. These people, with the members of their family brought the total attendance to over 60 members. The day's activities began by the group gathering at the Relief Society rooms for family group pictures at 1 p. m. At 2 o'clock, a banauet was served to the group by the Third Ward Relief Society, and following this a very interesting program was given, with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren being the stars of the show. Following the program pictures pic-tures of previous reunions were shown and the remainder of the time well Into the evening was1 spent In visiting and reminiscing. reminisc-ing. The following members of the family were selected as officers to prepare for the next annual gathering of the family In 1960: Mrs. Jayne Bentley, chairman; Mrs. Marian Hyatt, vice chairman chair-man and Mrs. Eleanor Hyatt, secretary and treasurer. Several members of the family fam-ily came early In order to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with relatives here. They Included Mr. and Mrs. James LcRoy Hyatt and family of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Hyatt of Idaho Falls and Retta Reid of Los Angeles. |
