HULET Charles Franklin Hulets Observe Open House An open house honoring Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franklin Hulet on their Golden Wedding anniversary anni-versary will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6, it wt's announced by the the family this week. The open house will be held at the Norman Hulet residence In Newcastle for the popular southern south-ern Utah couple. Friends and relatives of the couple have been invited by the family to attend the open house between the hours of 2 and 6 p. m. They request that no gifts be brought Charles Franklin Hulet and Elizabeth Jones Hulet were married mar-ried in Parowan on Dec. 15, 1909. On Oct. 18, 1910 the marriage was solemnized in the St George LDS Temple. They spent most of their lives In Newcastle where Mr. Hulet has been engaged in farming and livestock raising. Retired in recent years the couple, always active in affairs of the LDS Church, have spent the past four winters In St George doing work in the temple. They have seven children, including in-cluding Mrs. Minnie Dalley, Summit; Mss. Leone Rasmussen, Parowan; Mrs. Maude Strate, Cedar Ce-dar City; Melvin Franklin, Clifton Clif-ton J., Norman Lee and Charles Darwin, all of Newcastle. Family also lncuudes 24 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Both have been active In the affairs of the church with Mr. Hulet serving In the bishopric Sit Newcastle, Sunday School and Priesthood quorums. Mrs. Hulet has been active in the primary and Relief Society organizations serving In the presidency of both. |
