Show Police Officers Distribute Reminder Cards The Cedar City Police Department, Depart-ment, according to Kent Hoyt, chief, has distributed to Cedar City businessment cards which give ten timely reminders to be considered should a robbery occur. oc-cur. The cards are such that they can be posted in a conspicuous place and it is hoped that businessmen busi-nessmen will do so. The robbery reminder cards were furnished by the Utah State Peace Officers' Association In cooperation co-operation with the Cedar City Police Po-lice and Iron County Sheriff's departments. The ten points, as an additional addition-al reminder, are: 1. Do not resist the robber in any manner he is armed and may kill. 2. (a) While the robbery is In progress, do your utmost to paint a vivid mental picture of the robber. Observe his clothing, speech, mannerisms, and any peculiarities pe-culiarities such as scars, marks, tatoos or physical defects. (b) To gauge height of the robber, compare him with physical physi-cal objects in the room or on the wall. 3. Attempt to obtain a complete com-plete description of the car used by the robber; especially the license li-cense number, make and model, color, and dircilow of travel. 4. Notice firearm used by the robber. Was it a revolver, automatic auto-matic pistol, or rifle or shotgun'.' 5. Immediately notify your police po-lice department or sheriff's office. of-fice. C. Preserve as evidence anything any-thing dropped by the robber, such as gloves, written notes, bag, etc. 7. Protect area touched by the robber so they may be processed for fingerprints. 8.
