Show I ENOCH AND MID VALLEY NEYS NOTES Mrs. Dm Wilcktn Mrs. Cora Murie has had her sister visiting here with her this past week. There were about 20 young people and adults from our ward who participated in the Inter-Stake Inter-Stake Music Festival at Cedar City Saturday night. Br. Elvis B. Terry from the General Board of the MIA was here as Guest Conductor. The training and advice ad-vice he gave to the young people during the rehearsals should be invaluable to them as they are growing up. Quite a few families from our area attended the festival festi-val and enjoyed it very much. Raymond Christiansen is home recuperating from a recent opera- tlon at the Valley View Medical Center. He Is feeling much better and is well on the way to recovery. re-covery. Mrs. Maurine Grimshaw and her daughter, Mary Ann, traveled to Salt Lake City over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwell went to Salt Lake City on Thursday. Thurs-day. While there they visited, with their son, Clark, and his family in Salt Lake City and their son, Max, and his family who are living in Eountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Matheson are staying at the home of their son, Cleon, taking care of his children while he and his. wife are in Salt Lake City. Cleon is" in the LDS Hospital for physical examinations. |
