Show ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED PLANNING AND ZONING ORDINANCE FOR CEDAR CE-DAR CITY, DECEMBER 15, 1961. AND PROVIDING FOR LIMITED GRAZING OF LIVESTOCK IN R 2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Cedar City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Article VI-11 2 and Article VI-12-2 be amended amend-ed and changed with regard to use regulations, and thereby establish es-tablish and permit limited grazing graz-ing of livestock within the R-2 Residential Zone and R-3 Residential Resi-dential Zone, as more 8iecifical-ly 8iecifical-ly hereinafter provided. SECTION 2. Limited grazing shall hereafter be permitted in the R 2 Residential Zone and R-3 Residential Zone upon unoccupied unoccu-pied tracts of realty of a minimum mini-mum size of one acre or more, with such grazing privileges limited li-mited further to horses, cattle and sheep. 6ECTION 3. The minimum one-acre one-acre grazing area as in Section 2, hereinabove set forth, shall be adequately enclosed with a fence structure of suitable protective pro-tective construction. 'SECTION 4. The grazing of wild, vicious and unruly animals, including bulls or stalllors, shall be specifically prohibited on the minimum one-acre tracts as hereinabove set forth. SECTION 5. The grazing privileges priv-ileges as In Section 1 nereinabove set forth shall not permit and shall Bpeeiflcally prohibit the construction of corrals, feed yards, and any supplemental feeding of livestock. SECTION 6. The minimum one-acre one-acre grazing areas as in Section 2 hereinabove referred to shall be kept in a neat and clean manner, with any and all waste materials mater-ials periodically removed, and the sanitation officer of the municipality mu-nicipality Is hereby specifically authorized to conduct periodic inspections in-spections of such grazing areas for infractions of this Ordinance andor violations of the health, sanitation andor safety Ordinances Ordi-nances of said municipality, and any and all person or persons availing themselves of the privileges priv-ileges of this limited grazing ordinance or-dinance are deemed to have given giv-en their consent for such Inspection Inspec-tion for the general health, safety safe-ty and morals of said municipal munici-pal corporation of Cedar City. SECTION 7. this Ordinance shall take effect twenty (20 days after its publication or thirty thir-ty (30) days after its passage, whichever of said dates Is the most remote from final passage.
