Show W.C. Reeves Dies; Services Being Held Today William Charles Reeves, 92, Kanarravllle, died Tuesday at a St George rest home of causes incident to age. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted in the Kanarravllle Ward chapel today, Thursday, and burial will be in the Kanarravllle Kanarra-vllle cemetery. Mr Rmv wm hnm Jan. IS 1867 in Kanarravllle, a son of Joslah and Sarah Stapley Reeves. Mr. Reeves had been active in Church and civic affairs all his life. He was a member of the Kanarravllle Ward bishopric for a number of years and was particularly active In Sunday School and YMMIA. He served a two-year stake mission. He also had been a health officer for some time and was a justice of the peace for over 50 years. He operated the Kanarravllle Kanar-ravllle Coal Mine for many years. Surviving are five sons and one daughter, Mrs. Jennie Williams, Wil-liams, Lynn and Waldo Reeves, Kanarravllle; Eldon Reeves, of Monrovia, Calif.; Emron Reeves, Henderson, Ncv.; Otto Reeves, who is serving a mission for the LDS Church In South Carolina; 36 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great-grand-children; three sisters: Mrs. Phe-be Phe-be Davies, Mrs. Amanda Williams Wil-liams and Mrs. Hannah Davis, Kanarravllle. |
