Show DIVISION SEVEN LAURELS less Guymon Named Commander Jess W. Guymon, veteran of! World War I, and long time member of Parowan Post No. 20 of the American Legion, was elected commander of the American Amer-ican Legion District 7, at the annual an-nual convention held in Miners-vllle Miners-vllle last Friday night. Mr. Guymon Guy-mon will succeed Leland Hey-wood Hey-wood of Cedar City who has been commander of the region for the past year. Orlando Campbell of Hurricane was elected as vice commander of the Region which includes all Posts in the fie-county area. At the same time Parowan was selected se-lected as the site of the fall convention con-vention f District 7 with the date to be selected later. Mrs. Josephine Ferrell, Hurricane, Hurri-cane, was elected president of the district auxiliary to succeed Mrs. Alice Jones of Cedar City. Mrs. Marva Palmer, Hurricane, was elected first vice president,. Mrs. Shirley Holllngshead, Mln-crsville, Mln-crsville, second vice president, and Mrs. JaNell Farrer, Beaver, historian.
