Show P.H.S. Boys' State. Delegates Selected Three young men students of the junior class at the Parowan High School were named during the week as the schools representatives represen-tatives to this year's Boys' State. Gary Miller, who last week was elected as student body president pres-ident of the school for the 1959-60 1959-60 school year; Kenyon Clark. Miller's opponent in the election, elec-tion, and Bill Wright, a candidate candi-date in the primary election for the same office, were the ones selected to attend - the annual Boys' State in July. Raymond Lowe, the fourth candidate in the Primary election, will be alternate al-ternate to the above boys, according ac-cording to Principal Max Dalley. Miller is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Miller, Clark is a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Clark, Wright is the son of Mrs. Carol A. Wright and Lowe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lowe. This year's Boys' State, sponsored spon-sored by the Utah Department of the American Legion, will be held on the campus of Utah State University the week of July 4 to 11, Principal Dalley states. - |
