Show NEWS FROM KANARRAVILLE Mrs. Hannah DavU The Memorial Day week end was the occasion for many people peo-ple to visit in Kanarra and many relatives and friends and former townspeople were here to place flowers on the graves of their departed de-parted loved ones. Mrs. Effa Parker and daughter Ver Dawn Pitts have returned to their home In California after several days here with relatives. Mary Hannah Davis has gone to Seattle, Wash., to stay with her uncle, the Bevan Williams family, for awhile. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Piatt of Salt Lake City visited here with Mr. Piatt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt. They were accompanied on their return homo l,y his sister Alice for a s'ioi: isit with other . neinbers of the family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl IYrkins of t "dar City visited here last week with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Cayniond Davis and family are here visiting his tarents, Mr. and Mrs. Loon Davis. .Mr. Davis taught school at llan- lolph, I'tah, the past winter. Kichard Woodbjry, son of Ar-villa Ar-villa Woodbury, was rushed to Salt Lake City to have some bits of stool removed from his eye. Lennis Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis, is visiting in Murray with her sister, Mrs. Robert Simkins. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Robinson and family of Orem and Margaret Mar-garet Kitchen were week end visitors vis-itors here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson. Visitors here over the week end to enjoy some fishing from Las Vegas and Henderson were Ocal and Clayton Williams, Mr. and Mrs. LaWayne Isom and family, Kimball Woodbury and a friend. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Batty was their daughter, the Ivan Haskell family, fam-ily, from Pay son Junius Williams has returned home af'.ei spending a few ujvs in the Iron County hospital ro- wiving medical care. The families of Rnvon and Reed Williams have moved to Las Vegas for the summer where the men have employment with the Stout Construction Co. Some of our people attended Commencement kxercisos at the College of Southern Utah June 1. Lois Reeves and Val Davis were among the graduates. Visiting at the home of Mary M. Williams on Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Rosco Williams Wil-liams and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Baker of Anabella, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves are happy over the arrival of a new granddaughter, born to their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Reeves of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs Kelvin Zohner and son have returned home after spending the winter in Frovo where Kelvin attended BYU. He was one of the graduates this year. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson and Lu Ella Hawkins spent Mem-ial Mem-ial Day in Milford. Mrs. Elda Fife, daughter of Hannah Davis, is in the General Hospital in Salt Lake City for observation ob-servation and treatment. She would bo pleased to have friends call and visit her. |
