Show Wilson Lunt Named President of iUumni Association 1 Wilson Lunt, long-time member mem-ber of the council of the BNS-BAC-CSU Alumni Association and a vice president for "the past two years, was named president of the organization at a meeting held Thursday evening following the annual Alumni Association banquet. Mr. Lunt will succeed Clair Morris as president of the council coun-cil and named as vice president to succeed Mr. Lunt was Dr. Paul Lunt The executive committee of the organization has indicated that efforts to reorganize the Alumni Association in an effort to build up strong support for the college and its growth toward a four-voir four-voir nrogram In the Liberal Arts and Secondary Education field, Mr. Lunt said. Appointed by the council as the secretary was Miss Doris Es-plln. Es-plln. Miss Esplin served in that capacity under the administration administra-tion of Mr. Morris. At the bsinquet elections were a33 held to name five new members mem-bers to the Alumni Council for three-year terms. Elected were Carol Ann Jones, Roy P. Urie, Elwood Corry, Beth Leigh and Parley Dalley. At the executive meeting plans were formulated for a strong membership drive and methods were also discussed in improving the mailing list of the Alumni Association during the coming year. Lunt indicated that efforts to bring the mailing list of all grad-uatlng grad-uatlng students from the Institution Institu-tion throughout Its history will be made to build support for the growing college and its facilities. |
