Show Several Groups Join To Develop Parowan Race Track At a meeting of the heads of Parowan civic clubs and other organizations, held Monday night a committee was named and instructed in-structed to draw up a long range master plan for the improvement of the Parowan City race track and grounds. Those attending the meeting in-eluded in-eluded Osmer Nielson of the Exchange Ex-change Club, Rulan Dalton, Reed Orton and Claude Butcher of the Red Hill Wranglers, Hyrum Boardman and Alma Jones of the Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Howard Joseph and Councilman Coun-cilman Bernarr Stubbs of the Parowan City organization. The committee selected to inaugurate in-augurate the program of improvements im-provements under a long ran-! master plan were Reed O t, chairman; Rulan Dalton, Cat . Butcher, Bryce Adams, Berna..-Stubbs Berna..-Stubbs and a representative from the chamber ot commerce, yet to be named. The meeting was called by D. A. Stones, Chairman of the Iron County Fair Board. Under the master plan a program pro-gram of improvements will be drawn up which will cover a period per-iod of years, with all installations installa-tions made under the plans to be of permanent type materials to remove the necessity of replacing them from time to time. |
