DAVID SHRUM Gardner, Shrum Recite Nuptial Vows In a ceremony performed Friday, Fri-day, June 2, in the garden of the birde's parents home, Miss Sheila Gardner spoke wedding vows with David Shrum. Bp. Ray Baumgartner officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The College of Southern Utah couple was honored immediately immediate-ly following the exchange of wedding vows at a reception that was also held in the garden of the Gardner residence. Mr. and Mrs. Kumen S. Gardner Gard-ner of Cedar City are the parents of the bride. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and .Mrs. Carl W. Shrum of Kanab. I Receiving guests the bride was I lovely in a Victorian styled gown ' of white dclustercd satin and alencon lace. The bouffant skirt and bodice featured lace panels and her veil of illusion fell to shoulder length. She carried a cascading bouquet of salmon glamelias. I Attending the bride as matron f honor was Mrs. Glade Flani-1 gan. Miss Pat Frame was maid of honor with Miss Jackie Barrick, and Miss Cynthia Williams as bridesmaids. j Hostess for the evening wasi Airs. Paul Reber. Attendants were attired irp sheaths of Crystal sol in orange I and champagne. They wore pill box hais and carried posegayg of talisman roses and yt'llow earn, i tions. I I Standing as best man was Thayne Judd with Morris Quarn-berg, Quarn-berg, Ralph Sommers, Eric Gardner, Gard-ner, Kirk Memmott, Bob Green and Mont Crosland as ushers. Ring bearer was Neil Gardner a brother of the bride. For the occasion Mrs. Gardner chose a beige sheath of silk organza or-ganza over satin and the mother of the bridegroom selected a blue suit. Both wore corsages of orange glamelias. For her going away outfit the new Mrs. Shrum selected a beige linen sheath featuring black patent pat-ent accessories. Thp newlyweds honeymooned at the Grand Canyon in Arizona. |
