Show Sheriff's Jeep Patrol Answers Week End Calls Members of the Iron County, Utah Sheriff's Jwp Patrol were called into action over the past week end to investigate reports of wreckage in the area. The call was the 'second received re-ceived by the organization since its formation just three wvks aye The Patrol was alerted Friday by the Iron County Sheriff's office of-fice and late Saturday a report of wreckage was relayed from the Civil Air Patrol to the Sher- iff's office to the 'Jeep Patrol for investigation. Members of tne patrol reported report-ed at 4:53 Sunday morninig and viewed the wreckage southwest of Enterprise. They then left by truck to the site. Upon returning return-ing they reported that the wreck-i wreck-i age was an old one. The same day the patrol was called to investigate in-vestigate a wreckage reported near Central. This also proved to be a false alarm. The Iron County unit at the prosont time has seven 4x1 units and two aoocssablo airplanes. All 18 members have also received uniforms and all members are undergoing training in first aid and in search rescue and survival. surviv-al.
