Lynn Reeves and Mr. and Mrs. Devon Reeves of Cedar City traveled trav-eled to Las Vegas last week to attend funeral services for Mel-vin Mel-vin Reeves. Bud Williams of Winnemucca, Nev. and son Randy spent the Christmas holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Williams and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves enjoyed en-joyed having all of their children chil-dren home for Christmas except their daughter, Fae Dona Wil-houser Wil-houser of Salt Lake City. Visitor here from Elko, Nev. to spend the holidays with their parents were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis and daughter Balinda and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Seavey. Val Davis and Clarence Hawkins Haw-kins traveled to Henderson, Nev. Thursday to get Val's sister, Hanna, who spent a week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis. Miss Mary Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bauer, and Miss Karel Olds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Olds, were home from their school in Provo to spend a few weeks visiting. Mr. and Mrs. James Lovell and daughter Sherry spent Christmas in Garden Grove, Calif., with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Lovell and son and daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haliday and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davis and family and Miss Barbara Williams Wil-liams t?vAiod to St. George on Dec. 22 to attended the wedding of Miss Janice Blake. Mr. and Mrs. Rowan Williams and family of Las Vegas spent Sunday and Monday here with Ethna and Barbara Williams. Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Carter of Salt Lake City arrived here on Christmas Eve, then picked up their parents, Mr. and Junius Williams, and ihey bpeni Ciuial-mas Ciuial-mas in Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Kelsey Taylor and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Williams and girls. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Davis of Austin, Nec., have moved here to spend a few months. Mrs. Mabel Williams is in Par-1 owan spending a few days with j i her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. I and Mrs. John S. Dalton, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Perkins and family of Salt Lake City called on the Ivan Davies family for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Nash and baby, and Alice Piatt of Fountain Valley, Calif.,; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Attwood and son of Salt Lake City, spent the holidays holi-days visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Piatt. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lewis en-Joyed en-Joyed having their son-in-law and daughter from Barstow, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wineberger and son Phil spent a few days with them. The latter remained here with his grandparents for a week. Miss Lenis Davis and a boy friend Dick McDowell of Salt Lake City spent the Holidays with Lenis's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis. Visitors at the Glade Berry home over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kossen of Hen- Horann Nmr Mr linH Mrs Tom Pearce of New Harmony. Miss Joan Smith, who is attending at-tending beauty school in Bountiful Boun-tiful spent the holidays with her step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ence and family attended the open house Sunday in Cedar City, honoring Austin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. lewis Ence, who were celebrating celebrat-ing their golden wedding. |
