Show 3D's to Perform In Cedar City January 5 The 3 D's one of the nation's most up and coming singing I groups, will appear In concert at j College of Southern Utah Wednesday, Wed-nesday, January 5, It was announced an-nounced by Dan Grundmann, vice president In charge of cultural cul-tural affairs at the college. It will be a third performance by the trio at CSU. The program will begin at 8:15 p. m. in the CSU Auditorium. The rising new vocal lnU-i' mental group will present a unique kind of entertainment under un-der the title the 3 D's present the 1 3 R's Rhyme, Rhythm and ! Reason. Comedy, drama, music j land rhythm are combined to I showcase some of the world's j best-loved literature. Dimension ! and diversity are the order of the nitfht with something for everyone. every-one. The pounding of cannon i and thunder of hoof of the' "Light Brigade," the triumphant! march home with the head of Lewis Carrol's Jabberwocky and the pathetic swoosh of Casey's third strike will be among the highlights of the show. Tlie Trio records for Capitol Records and has been called by the company "one of the most creative groups in years." In addition ad-dition to this original material the 3 D's will present their version ver-sion of favorites of the world of pop, blues, folk and semi-classical music. For accompaniment in their two-hour concert, the 3 D's perform on five guitars, two banjos, a bass fiddle, congo drum and bongos, trumpet, piano and sometimes melophone, harmonica har-monica and finger cymbals.
