Show Mr. and Mrs. Mason Rencher to Be Honored On Golden Wedding Anniversary Tanuarv 1 ! " AS I MR. AND. MRS. MASON S. RENCHER Mr. and Mrs. Mason S. Rencher Ren-cher wil be honored at an open house in observance of their Golden Wedding Anniversary Saturday, January 1, 1966, from 2 to 5 p. m. In the New Harmony Ward Cultural Hall. All relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. They request no gifts, please. I Mr. and Mrs. Rencher were married on January 1, 1916, in I St. George, Utah. They are the parents of five children. Mrs. George A. (Vivian) Sherman, Norwalk, Calif. John L. (Deceased), (Deceas-ed), Mrs. Gaylen (Maryrene) Masters, Tacoma, Washington, Graff, Jr., Cedar City and Betty Rose (deceased). They have fifteen fif-teen grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Rencher lived near Pine Valley, Utah on their ranch in Grass Valley until 1942 when they moved to New Harmony. Har-mony. In 1963, they moved to Cedar City to make their home. Mr. Rencher spent his early years on his ranch at Grass Val-ley Val-ley where he was actively engaged en-gaged In livestock-farming and ' ranching. He is well noted for his proficiency In the trading and appraisal of horses, and he takes great pride In the fact that his close friends call him a "professional "profes-sional horse-trader." While living In New Harmony, Mr. Rencher halped on commun-I commun-I lty projects, one of which was I the construction of the New I Harmony Church House. He assisted as-sisted in the Boy Scout activities. Mrs. Rencher has also been an active community worker. She has served as president of the ' New Harmony Ward Primary and Relief Society for a number of , years. She was a 4 11 Club lead- I of the Fifty-Year Club of the Col-of Col-of the Fifty-Yer Club of the College Col-lege of Southern Utah. j |
