Show NEWS NOTES FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport A very fine Christmas program was presented here Christmas Eve by the Primary organiza-; organiza-; tlon, with President Pauline Hu-i Hu-i let in charge and Mrs. Billye Humpherys as narrator. All the children took part. Santa Claus put in an appearance during the evening, bringing candy and nuts to all who attended. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton and daughter Eva, and Miss Fran Farrow, all of Las Vegas, arrived here Thursday to spend some time with their folks, the Raymond Ray-mond Farrows. Mr. and Mr. Jay Davenport oi" CiijOylng liaViiig Xuiit uaugil- ter, Mrs. Fred Whicker and family fam-ily of Tooele here to spend part of the holiday season. They arrived ar-rived here on Thursday of last week and another son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dannie Condie of Cedar City Joined them here for a family get-together Christmas Day, along with Mrs. Davenport's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley. Sunday afternoon the Davenports, Daven-ports, Whickers and Mrs. Condie traveled to Paragonah to visit with Jay's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Davenport. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Tucker of Tooele got here late Thursday to spend Christmas with Mrs. Tucker's Tuck-er's family, the Arden Richards, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Miss Sheila Robb of St. George visited here Christmas day at the Jay Davenport, Arden Richards and Ivan Dalley homes. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Morton and son Tony of Downey, Calif., arrived ar-rived here last week to spend the Christmas holiday with another an-other son, Rodger and family, and also with Mrs. Morton's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Helen Matheson and a brother Herbert White, and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife and son Gillman enjoyed having their son Paul and family of Parowan, and daughter Mrs. Mack Rider and family of Salt Lake City here for a Christmas visit. Miss Patricia Humpherys of Salt Lake City was here to spend Christmas with her family, fam-ily, the Hyrum Humpherys. They traveled to St. George on Chrirc-mas Chrirc-mas Day to visit another daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Denny Woodard and family, bringing their little granddaughter Billye Ann, back with them for a short stay. Mrs. Pauline Neptune of Cedar City visited here Sunday with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet A Sunday visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Evans was Carl's mother, Mrs. Carrie Evans of Parowan Holiday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow was their daughter, Mrs. Clark Maxwell Max-well and family of Enoch. |
