Show College of Southern Utah Receives $500 Grant from First Security Foundation College of Southern Utah was tfie recipient of $500 In scholarships scholar-ships and grants distributed through the First Security Foundation, Foun-dation, it was announced today by Francis W. Betenson, manager manag-er of the First Security Bank In Cedar City. The scholarships and grants are part of $14,800 being distributed distrib-uted by the Foundation to 16 Utah and Idaho colleges and universities uni-versities as well as to 4-H and Future Farmers clubs In the In-termouPt.Mn In-termouPt.Mn region. The grants to CSU Include $400 in scholarships and $100 in library li-brary grants. The 1966 gifts will bring to $179,100 the total of scholarships and grants which the Foundation has distributed since its found- ing 13 years ago in December of 1952. In addition to CSU other schools receiving 1966 foundation contributions include University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Univer-sity, Weber States College, Westminster West-minster College, Snow College, Carbon College, University of Idaho, Idaho State University, Boise Junior College, Ricks College, Col-lege, College of Idaho, North Idaho Ida-ho Jumor College, Northwest Naz-arene Naz-arene College and Lewis & Clark Normal College. Scholarships and grants will be awarded In the spring. Winners Win-ners are chosen by the school scholarship committee, together with the head of the department or school of business and a representative rep-resentative of the foundation.
