Show Kathy Smith Becomes ' Bride in Home Rites In a wedding ceremony which took place here Saturday, May 26 Miss Kathy Smith became the bride of Mr. Joseph Keith Skin-ner. Skin-ner. Kathy Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' McKay Smith of Parowan and Mr. Skinner is a son of Melburn Y. Skinner of Beaver. The marriage took place at the Smith home with Bishop Vic tor Robinson of Paragonah, an uncle of the bride, officiating In the presence of a large number of relatives and friends of the young couple. The newlyweds were honored at a reception in the First-Second Ward recreation hall that evening at 8:30 which featured a program and dancing. Following a brief honeymoon spent in Las Vegas, the young couple went to Salt Lake City where the bridegroom has employment em-ployment and where they will make a home. The bride was attended at the reception by Jerolyn Montague, as maid of honor, with bridesmaids brides-maids being the Misses Susan Benson, Maxine Joseph and Gale Edwards. Little Miss Wanda Robinson was flower girl. Wayne Heppler of Beaver performed best man duties for the bridegroom. The bride has attended the Parowan High School where she has been active in extra-curricular affairs and has acted as a cheerleader during the past year. The bridegroom U a graduate of Beaver High School and attended at-tended the College of Southern Utah during the past winter. |
