Show Cedar City Resident Succumbs Following Illness Mrs. Loreta Barnson Riddle Heyborne, 55, died Tuesday following fol-lowing an Illness. She had been in a serious condition for some time. Funeral services will be held in the Cedar Second Ward chapel cha-pel Saturday at 2 p m. Friends may call at the Southern Utah Mortuary from 7 to 9 p. m. Friday, Fri-day, and from 11 a. m. until time for services Saturday. Mrs. Heyborne was born in Kingston, Utah, on July 5, 18!W, a daughter of Andrew and Vivian Viv-ian Elder Barnson. She married Clarence E. Riddle in the Manti Temple In 1919. He died at Cedar Ce-dar City in 1935, and on Sept.. 5. 1947, Mrs. Riddle married Karl Heyborne. I Mrs. Heyborne had always been an active member of the L D S Church and had served in many capacities in various auxiliary organizations throughout through-out her life. She had also been active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers organization and in civic ci-vic affairs. She is a former city recorder and also served for several sev-eral years as a librarian in the Cedar City junior library. She is survived by her husband. hus-band. Cedar City; one daughter. LaDawn R. Stott, Ogden; two sons, David Kent Riddle, Hollywood, Holly-wood, Calif., and Bruce Riddle, Monterey. Calif. Also surviving are six grandchildren and three sisters. |
