Show Lunts Depart for Two Month European Tour Mr. and Mrs. Lanell Lunt left Cedar City Monday morning for the East Coast and a two-month vacation tour of Europe. They will return to Cedar City August Leaving on the City of Los An-geles An-geles Monday Mr. and Mrs. Lunt and their two daughters, Betsy and Joanne, traveled to Ithaca, N. Y. where the two daughters will remain with a brother-in-law and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Ron-do Ron-do A. Chrlstensen. Friday, June 1, Mr. and Mrs. Lunt will leave New York City by air for Europe. Their agenda calls for a four day stay in Scotland, Scot-land, five days In England, two days in Holland and three days in Denmark. They will spend two weeks with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ashman. Charles is serving with the United States Army in Land-stuhl, Land-stuhl, Germany. They will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ashman In Paris and will spend ten days in Switzerland. From there Mr. and Mrs. Lunt will travel to Italy, Joining with a tour in Naples for an addition- al two weeks. On July 31 they will board the a S. Chrlstoforo Columbo and will arrive back in the United States in August. Mr. Lunt filled a mission for the LDS Church in Germany 30 years ago and he plans to visit some of the places familiar to him while on his mission. Last Thursday evening Wilson Lunt held a farewell party for employees in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lunt prior to their leaving on the vacation trip. Also honored honor-ed was Kent Carpenter, salesman for Lunt Motor Company, who is moving to Kanab to open a branch in that city for the com. pany. |
