They elected the following officers: of-ficers: President, LaMar Anderson; Ander-son; vice president, Sammy Lister; Lis-ter; secretary, Janet Hunt; cheer leader, Vicky Ann Evans and reporter, re-porter, Linda Rae Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Montague and family of Payson, Mr. and Mrs. Cal Smith and family of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Hansen and family of Salt Lake City, Joined Mr. and Mrs. Wil-liam Wil-liam T. Davenport. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson in attending the wedding of Miss Katherine Smith and Keith Skinner in Par-owan Par-owan Saturday. Bishop Robinson, an uncle, performed the ceremony. cere-mony. A host of relatives and friends attended the reception that evening in Parowan. Word came from Germany recently re-cently to Mrs. Annie R. William-son William-son of the birth of her first great-grandchild, born May 21 there. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Mark W. Sunday. Mrs. Sunday's Sun-day's mother. La Rett a Williamson William-son Abbott, was reared in this community. Wilson Lund and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lund attended the funeral services of a cousin, Louis R. Lund in St. George Saturday. The Lund families also traveled to Cedar City Sunday evening to attend the missionary farewell testimonial for another cousin, Blaine Lund. Mrs. Ann Hall and Gail Niel-son Niel-son of Hurricane spent a few days here with relatives. The Mia Maid class of the Mu-tual Mu-tual Joined with the other groups of the Stake at a delightful party par-ty at the home of Mrs. Joan Wheatley, Stake Mia Maid leader, lead-er, Tuesday evening. The eight girls from here were accompanied accompan-ied by their leader. Miss Helen Stones and Mrs. Nora Lund. Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson, son Allen, and Mrs. Erma Robinson traveled to Salt Lake City Tuesday Tues-day where Erma visited with her daughter, Mrs. Dee Conder. Allen stayed with the Cal Smiths in Clearfield and Hazel Jean went on to Twin Falls, Ida. to meet her husband Boyd. Mrs. Betty Jean Smith entertained enter-tained at a post nuptial personal person-al shower for Mrs. Doris Williams Wil-liams Saturday evening. The affair af-fair was held at the Wilson Lund home with guests also coming from other communities. Games were played and refreshments served. B. H. Sorenson of Orderville visited briefly with his daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Barton, on Saturday. Satur-day. Mrs. Elsie Brinkerhoff, Glen-dale; Glen-dale; Mrs. Mercy Chamberlain. Orderville; and Mrs. Merrill Heaton, Alton, came with Mr. Sorenson and called on Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell, a former resident res-ident of Kane County. Mario Williams of Henderson is spending a few days here with Mr. and Mrs. Dallen Williams. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. George of Salt Lake City visited at the Wil-son Wil-son Lund home Sunday. Miss Gayle Lund accompanied Mrs. Maxine Barton to Mllford Sunday Sun-day morning for a little vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mitchell and family of Weed Heights, Nev., are here to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barton and in Parowan with Mrs. Jane Richards. Mr., and Mrs. Porter Leavitt and son, Roger, of Idaho Springs, Colo., spent Sunday and Monday here with Mr. Leavitt's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Barton. Mrs. Ivan Robb entertained at a friendship shower for her daughter, Mrs. Jack Stevens, Monday evening at hr home. Guest were here from Parowan and Cedar City. 9 X V At a special assembly held at the PUS Thursday, Dale Robinson Robin-son was among those who received re-ceived scholarships and awards. His scholarship was to the University Un-iversity of Utah based on high scholastic rating and provides a full year's tuition. Bob Hey-borne Hey-borne of KSUB presented Dale with an award for his services pcs reporter. ir. Om,sci, also was given an award for the Yearbook sports editor.
