Show LaRetta Decker Tells Vows in Home Rites With members of the immed-late immed-late families and friends present, Miss LaReta Decker of 1'arowan exchanged marriage vows with LaMar Hall Anderson of Lorenzo, Idaho, with the rites taking place at the home of the bride's parents par-ents at 7 p. m. Friday, May 25. Bishop Howard M. Adams officiated officia-ted at the ceremony. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. andj Mrs. Frank Decker of Parowan, Paro-wan, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theron D. Anderson An-derson of Lorenzo, Idaho. The marriage rites w ere followed follow-ed by a reception in the Relief Society rooms of the First-Second Ward chael here. In the receiving re-ceiving line besides the parents of the bride and groom were the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrss Victor Decker, Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter of Edwards, Calif. David Anderson, brother of the bridegroom, stood as best man for him and attending the bride were her sister. Miss Sandra Decker, as maid of honor, and the Misses Kathy Smith, Susan Benson, Sylvia Decker, Merna Green and Mrs. David Anderson. A program was held with Max Dalley as master of ceremonies. The bride was a member of last week's graduating class at the Parowan High School where she was active in drama and in various girls' organizations. The bridegroom Is a veterAi of three years In the U. S. Navy and spent last summer here as a worker on the Buckhorn Fiat road construction Job. They will make their home In Lorenzo, Idaho where he will be engaged in farming operations. |
