Show George D. Grimshaw Granted Company Scholarship George D. Grimshaw, general superintendent of the Southern Utah division of California-Pacific Utilities Company, has been selected by his company as one of the 1959 recipients of the James A. Ward Memorial Scholarship. Schol-arship. The scholarship will admit Mr. Grimshaw to the college of business busi-ness administration of the University Uni-versity of Idaho for a special public pub-lic utilities executive course. Objects Ob-jects of the course are to meet the demand for the development of men with a management point of view; to accelerate the transition tran-sition of executive responsibility by enhancing awareness, evaluating evalu-ating attitudes, and by. organizing organiz-ing basic insights into problems of top management Each year California-Pacific Utilities Co. selects from two to four outstanding management employees to attend the course and baseJ on the rules of the company sponsored scholarship, Mr. Grimshaw is one of four named to attend this year. Mr. Grimshaw has been with California-Pacific since the merger mer-ger of Southern Utah Power on June 19, 195a He was employed by the Southern Utah Power Co. for 25 years prior to the merger. He progressed up through the ranks of the company, attaining the present position of general superintendent |
