Johnny Black of Lions pitched his team to a 5 to 4 victory over Milne Saturday evening on Little-League Little-League Foundation Day in Cedar City. Merrill Dalley took the loss for Milne and the truckers were overcome regardless of homers by Dalley and Ronnie Nelson. Monday evening Roger Olsen was on the mound as the Miners won from Elks and he added a home run to spark the 9 run fire which led to victory.
