Show Warren H. Bulloch pointed To State Position 1 WARREN H. BULLOCH Warren H. Bulloch, prominent Cedar City businessman, has been named this past week by Governor George D. Clyde, as an appointive member of the newly formed State Coordinating Council Coun-cil for Higher EducaUon. Mr. Bulloch was named as one of three democratic members of the committee. The State Coordinating Council of Higher Education was formula formu-la ieu by siaie legislature in session ses-sion this year. Principal power of the council will be to control by suggestion to the legislature, of the public funds expended for post high school educatloa Public Pub-lic fundi to institutions in the state Including College of Southern South-ern Utah in Cedar City, will come under scrutiny of the newly formed organization. Under the act establishing the council, the members must meet within 60 days of July 1 to elect a chairman and vice chairman, who must be selected from among the six appointees of the governor. Council includes the six appointees and three members mem-bers chosen by the governing boards of the two state universities universi-ties and the state board of education. |
