Show Happenings in Escalante Valley By Georgia H. Moyle Election of oHicers for the Escalante Es-calante Valley Coordinating , Council for the 1963 season will be held at the community building build-ing Wednesday evening December Decem-ber 5. Residents of the valley, including New Castle, Beryl and ' Modena, are urged to attend. i Mr. and Mrs. Dick Burns and son, Merl, of Beryl are on an i extended trip to the Central States where they will upend some time with relatives and friends of Mrs. Burns. Charlene and Wally Mathis and daughter, Mchell of Logan spent Thanksgiving at Modena I with Charlene's folks, Mr. and I Mrs. Horacj Phelps. They also visited In St George with the Mathis family. Visiting over the Thanksgiving week end at the Clayton Bracken Brack-en residence was Mrs. Bracken's brother, Kay Bowler, and girl friend irom Logan. Betty, Clayton and girls, Kay and Irene spent Thanksgiving Lay at Panaca with the Keith I Simkins. Clayton's father, Austin Brack- ! en of Central, and Mr. and Mrs. ' Keith Simkins of Panaca were J visitors at the Clayton Bracken 1 home on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. James Cox and l son, Kevin, spent Thanksgiving with their folks at Milford. I Mrs. Cordon Moyle and son, ! Spencer, and Mrs. Moyle's father land step-mother, Mr. and Mrs.' j Joseph Holt of St. George spent I I Thanksgiving with a sister and j 1 daughter, Mrs. Maxine H. Green 1 and family at Idaho Falls. Mrs. Moyle and the Holts went through the Idaho Falls Temple with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Green and two children. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Robinson, son John and Mrs. Robinson's mother, Mrs. Brown of Long Beach, spent Thanksgiving vttli Mr. and Mrs. Jim Johnston and family of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Force of Modena and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. , Miller of Cedar City spent Thanksgiving at Milford with the ' Force's daughter, Lloise and family, fa-mily, the Mitchell Whites.
