Show Duane Lamoreaux Lectures on Modern Day Indians During the past week Duane Lamoreaux visited the seventh trade at the Parowan High School and talked to the students on the Indians he worked among while serving as a missionary for the LDS Church during the past two years in Arizona and New Mexico. Duane showed slides depicting the everyday life among the Indian In-dian tribes of that area and also showed samples of their pottery and Jewelry. In his lecture he gave the group a new understanding under-standing of the modern day Indians In-dians of America. This visit was a part of the seventh grade's study of American Ameri-can Indians which is being led by Mrs. Max Hendrickson, teacher. |
