Marlene Kirkpatrick Weds California Man in S. L. Temple Mrs. Martha Kukpatnck of this city announces the marriage of her daughter, Anna Marlene to K. ('.union Maughan. son of Mr. and Mrs. William Maughan. of , Pasadena, Cal;f. The wedding took place Wednesday, Aug 8 in the Salt Lake L D S temple. Following the wedding they will return here where a reception recep-tion in their honor will be held tonight, Thursday, in ihe Relief Society rooms of the Second ward chapel. The bride has attended the local lo-cal high school for the past three years where she has been ac tive in dramatics and student affairs. Mr. Maughan is at present pres-ent a member of the V. S. Army stationed in the Hawaiian Islands. Is-lands. He is home on a 10-day furlough and will return to his station next week. After her husband's hus-band's return to his post the new-Mrs. new-Mrs. Maughan will return to her home here and plans to finish her senior year at the Parowan high school.
