Show BERYL NEWS NOTES The Escalante Valley Coordinating Coordin-ating Council held its annual tour of the valley on Aug. 3, with 17j people from all parts of southern Utah participating. Most of the visitors were impressed im-pressed with the tremendous change and development made in this area in recent years. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Tinker had as their guests over the week end, Mr. Tinker's brother Dan of Los Angeles, Calif. Vern Frailey and Jimmie Walk-1 or are back from a delightfu' I business and pleasure trip to South Dakota. Mr. Walker visited visit-ed with his parents, and Mr. Frailey visited with his father. The Ladies club has been presented pre-sented with a quilt top by Mrs. Porter, and will be busy quilting it. When it is finished it will be sold to raise funds for the club. Mr. and Mrs. John Smith have their daughter Ruth visiting with them while her husband is on duty overseas. |
