Show Swimming Party Plans Told By Cedar Jaycee-Ettes Activities of the Cedar City Jaycee-Ettes for the current year got under way this month with the highlight being a swimming party for all members and their partners Friday, July 22, at the municipal pool. The party will begin at 8 p. m. and will feature swimming, games for the land-lubbers and dancing for all. A delicious supper sup-per is being planned and members mem-bers are invited to bring prospective pros-pective members and guests. The new officers and board members are the committee for this affair, and they urge the girls to wear their canyon clothes. The committee consists of Mary Heyborne, Pat Rollo, Emma Lou Hardy, Lavon Wayman, Barbara Dimick, Delores Webster, Jean Anderson, Wanda Sevy, Betty Macfarlane, Ann Hansen and Carol Brown, newly appointed board member. Other activities this month include in-clude entering a float in the July 4 parade, supervising the July 4 dance and helping the Jaycees with the concession stands for the Little League Tournament. The following members are credited with building the float: Catherine Adams, chairman; Betty Bet-ty Macfarlane, board advisor; Patsy Clayton, Rayona Day and Cher! Watters. |
