Show Funeral Services Conducted for Raymond Ashdown Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the First Ward chapel Saturday Sat-urday afternoon for Raymond Ashdown who died at his home on Tuesday, July 5. Speakers at the services were Bishop Parson U. Webster and George W. Grimshaw. Invocation was by Max Willis, benediction by Samuel F. Leigh, and the dedicatory ded-icatory prayer at the Cedar City cemetery, where burial was made, was by James Heywood. Prayor at the mortuary prior to the services was by M. B. Lang-ford. Lang-ford. The musical numbers included two numbers, "Oh. My Father," and "Sometime We'll Understand," Under-stand," by a mixed quartet composed com-posed of Lois McConnell, Mamie Eck, Ray Cosslett and C. Wm. Macfarlane, and a vocal solo "In The Garden," by Herschel Neelev. |
