Show Mrs. RoeThorley Holds Lead In Season Fish Catch Mrs. Roe Thorley won the weekly fish prize in the senior division of the Cedar Wildlife Federation big fish contest this week, and also took the lead for the season prize as well. Mrs. Thorley landed a three-pound three-pound rainbow at Enterprise reservoir res-ervoir to walk off with the prize donated by Jackson Cleaners. Grant Seegmiller had won the first week's prize with .a two-pound two-pound two ounce rainbow and consequently held the lead in the season contest for one week. Raymond Prestwich brought In a one-pound 15 ounce rainbow from Enterprise reservoir to capture cap-ture top honors in the junior division di-vision and won a $5.00 cash prize .1 . .1 1 4 1 C...U ITtnW uunmuii uy wic ouuwitrm uiau Power company. Prest wich's fish, however, did not put him Into the race for season honors since Clair Adams won the first week's prize with a two-pound rainbow. Enterprise reservoir seems to be the top spot for landing big 'fish this year, since all four I prizes won so far in the federa-t federa-t ion's contest have been won on fish taken from the reservoir. Many fish were weighed in this week with only a few ounces separating the top several fish entered in each division.' Next week's prizes will be donated do-nated by the Cedar Drug company com-pany in the junior division and by H. M. Endsley in the senior division. |
